My sensitive skin is soooo (did I add enough o’s?) happy right now and it’s all because of Drunk Elephant! I was generously gifted ‘The Littles’ set from the company along with a sample size of their A-Passioni Retinol Cream. I combined these with the DE Products I already had in my skincare routine and dedicated 4 weeks to exclusively using them, the results blew me away! I should add, this was HARD for me to do. As a beauty blogger, I have so many faves from various brands in my routine but I had to see for myself if the DE hype was real.

My Day & Night roundup of products:

What I used:

DayShaba Complex Eye Serum

Protini Polypeptide Cream + 1 pump of C-Firma Day Serum

Umbra Tinte or Umbra Sheer Physical Daily Defense SPF 30 (I didn’t even have to use primer before foundation if I used these for sunscreen!)

Night – (removed makeup with makeup remover)

Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser

Shaba Complex Eye Serum

Lala Retro Whipped Cream + Virgin Marula Luxury Face Oil + T.L.C Framboos Glycolic Night Serum + B- Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum if I needed extra moisture

* Once in 4 weeks (because my skin is sensitive) T.L.C Sukari Babyfacial (in place of Framboos) in night routine before moisturizing.

* Once in 4 weeks (because my skin is sensitive) A-Passioni Retinol Cream (in place of Framboos) in night routine before moisturizing.

Before & After:

I took all of these photos around the same time of day in the same spot so you all can see the results I saw every morning when I woke up.

As you can see, before I started my DE routine I would wake up with super oily skin, accentuated texture, wrinkles, redness and breakouts. The one week progress picture really sold me to continue!

I was clearly overdoing it with trying out new products and my skin was overcompensating by producing extra oils. The oils were making me break out and it was a CONSTANT cycle. After continuing this regime for a month, I only use one blotting paper on my makeup throughout the day. Prior to this I was using up to 3-4!

I was also dealing with what I thought was acne in the chin area due to hormones. I quickly realized it was not as this area now is clear, with the exception for (now fading) dark spots where the acne used to be.

I have a huge dark spot on my right side from a deep breakout. While it is not completely gone yet, it has significantly faded thanks to the Babyfacial and T.L.C. Framboos. (The hive by my eyebrow went away after I took photos, I get random reactions to things).

Final Thoughts:

I would absolutely continue using all of the products above from Drunk Elephant and I’m curious to try out more from the brand! My skin has not looked and felt this nice in a while and to me, the cost is totally worth it if my skin continues to get better.

Let me know what you think in the comments! Do you see a difference in my skin? Is Drunk Elephant a brand you have been wanting to try?

Thanks for reading, I’ll talk to you all soon!
