Hey All! Glad to have you back and I’m excited to share an awesome opportunity I had recently. About a month ago The Beauty Crop contacted me and asked if I would like to review a bunch of their products. As I do with all companies, I did my own research to see if it was something that was not only of interest to myself, but also to the audience that I cater to. I was pleased to find that they are a 100% Cruelty Free beauty company that’s goal is to create products enhanced with nutrition derived from natural ingredients. Since I’ve been wanting to try more natural beauty products, I was more than happy to accept their offer.

Now, on to the reviews:
Espresso Yourself Eyeshadow Palette $29.90 USD. Formulated with Coffee Extract. (No, it doesn’t smell like coffee lol. Yes, I smelled it when I first opened it 😅)
⁃ The formula on both the mattes & shimmers in this palette are very reminiscent of the ones in the Lorac Pro palette that I own. Not all the mattes are ‘Bam in your face’ intense, but they blend up beautifully & easily. Most of the shimmers are really pigmented, which I love. To intensify the couple that aren’t, I sprayed my brush with Mac Fix+ (a staple in my kit) and it instantly brought out a higher pigment. I love the shades in this palette! They work perfect for my skin tone and the look I put together held up well all day, the colors stayed put.
Lighting Crew Highlighting Cream $12 USD. Formulated with Vitamin C, Pineapple & Green Tea.
⁃ Ah liquid highlight…it’s either for you or not. This one, once technique is down..is totally for me! After foundation I dabbed a bit on the higher part of my cheeks, blended quickly with a brush, blended Blush Duo right under, intensified the highlight as needed with another layer & set with powder. Yes, sounds like some work but the effect is so beautiful! I have larger pores on my face and I’m happy to say this formula didn’t enhance them like other liquid highlights have done.
Brush Duo – Cream & Powder Papaya Don’t Peach $10 USD. Formulated with Kale, Aronia Berry, Pomegranate & Papaya.
⁃ Similar to the liquid highlight, it’s all about technique. But no technique can help you if a cream blush applies patchy. This one didn’t! The cream side is highly pigmented so a little goes a long way (I did apply way too much at first 😂). Topped with the powder side, this shade is such a perfect, natural peach color.
Lip Brûlée – Butterscotch $12.95 USD. Formulated with Jojoba & Apricot Kernel Oil.
⁃ Out of all the products I received, this is one of my faves! I know I will go through both of the lip products quick. As a person who prefers gloss over matte (most of the time), I’m loving this Lip Brûlée formula. I want all the colors. The scent is amazing (probably the Apricot Kernel Oil), it’s easy to apply, pigmented, glossy, moisturizing and wears pretty well for a non-matte lipstick/gloss.
PBJ Smoothie Stick Lip Crayon – Saucy Marsala $14.95 USD. Formulated with Almond Butter & Goji Berry.
⁃ Like the Lip Brûlée … I want all the colors of the PBJ Smoothie Stick Lip Crayons! Lipsticks in this kind of thick pencil form are totally up my alley. Easy to apply, pigmented and moisturizing. Not as shiny as the Lip Brûlée formula, just hydrating. I love that it’s a subtle brownish red (Marsala) color and it’s totally daytime wearable.
Here are pics of the look I created with most of the products (Lip color is the Butterscotch Lip Brûlée):
